Vikings safety Anthony Harris will play on the franchise tag in 2020.
Will he and the Vikings come to a long-term deal with Harris after the season or will Harris be on a new team in 2021?
Gregg Rosenthal over at NFL.com ranked the franchise-tagged players most likely to stay on their respective teams and Harris ranked all the way down at No. 8 out of the 13 tagged players.

The reporting about Harris this offseason was mixed. While Rapoport noted that the late bloomer was available for a potential trade before the draft, the Vikings also worked on a long-term deal as Wednesday’s deadline approached. The Vikings may eventually have to choose between Harris and Harrison Smith.
There’s no denying how good Harris is, but having two high-paid safeties is rare in the NFL. Then again, maybe the Vikings can afford that considering all of their cornerbacks are on rookie contracts.
