What are the Kingston upon Hull North General Election 2019 results in full?

Despite the cold and the rain, voters of Kingston upon Hull North have been braving the elements at the polls to elect their MP in the 2019 General Election.

And now the waiting is over for Avenue, Beverley, Bransholme East, Bransholme West, Bricknell, Kings Park, Newland, Orchard Park and Greenwood and University.

The seat of Kingston upon Hull North has a new Member of Parliament.

Before this year's election, the sitting MP was Labour's Diana Johnson, who has held onto her seat in the General Election 2019.

Labour took just over 17,000 votes, with Conservatives finishing in second place with 9,440 votes.

The 2019 results:

Labour: Diana Johnson - 17,033

Conservative: Holly Whitbread - 9,440

The Brexit Party: Derek Abram - 4,771

Liberal Democrat: Mike Ross - 2,084

Green: Richard Howarth - 875

Polls closed across the UK at 10pm on December 12, and a count has been underway ever since.
