What are the East Yorkshire General Election 2019 results in full?

The voters of East Yorkshire have been braving the wind and the rain at the polls to elect their MP in the 2019 General Election.

And now the waiting for Bridlington, Driffield, Pocklington and Market Weighton is over.

The seat of East Yorkshire has a new Member of Parliament.

Before this year's election, the sitting MP was Conservative Greg Knight.

A count has been underway ever since polls closed across the UK at 10pm sharp on December 12.

And we can now reveal that Conservative Greg Knight has held onto his seat and re-elected as the East Yorkshire MP.

Conservatives secured just under 34,000 votes, while Labour obtained 11,201.

The 2019 results are below:

Conservative: Greg Knight - 33,988

Labour: Catherine Minnis - 11,201

Liberal Democrat: Dale Needham - 4,219

The Yorkshire Party: Tim Norman - 1,686

Green: Mike Jackson - 1,675
