Don Valley General Election 2019 results in full

It has been an awful day for it, but voters in Don Valley have been at the polls to elect their MP in the 2019 General Election.

And now the waiting for the Hatfield, Thorne, and Conisbrough, constituency is over.

The seat of Don Valley has a new Member of Parliament.

Before this year's election, the sitting MP was Labour's Caroline Flint.

A count has been underway ever since polls closed across the UK at 10pm sharp on December 12.

The 2019 results are below:

New MP is Conservative Nick Fletcher.

Results:

Conservative: Nick Fletcher - 19,609

Labour: Caroline Flint - 15,979

The Brexit Party: Paul Whitehurst - 6,247

Liberal Democrat: Mark Alcock - 1,907

Green: Kate Needham - 872

The Yorkshire Party: Chris Holmes - 823
