What are the Beverley and Holderness General Election 2019 results in full?

Voters in Beverley and Holderness have gone to the polls to elect their MP in the General Election 2019.

And a new Member of Parliament has been elected for the constituency, which includes Beverley, Hedon, Hornsea and Withernea.

The sitting MP before the election was Conservative Graham Stuart, who has held his seat.

The MP took a significantly larger share of the votes on a terrible night for Labour's Chloe Hopkins, whose share fell by nearly 10 per cent.

Stuart won 62.1 per cent, accounting for more than 33,000 of the vote.

That was an increase of 3.7 per cent on 2017.

Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday December 12, with the vote count taking place overnight.

The 2019 results are below:

  1. CONSERVATIVE: Graham Stuart - 33,250
  2. LABOUR: Chloe Hopkins - 12,802
  3. LIBERAL DEMOCRAT: Denis Healy - 4,671
  4. THE YORKSHIRE PARTY: Andy Shead - 1,441
  5. GREEN: Isabel Pires - 1,378
