John McGinn appeared visibly emotional after Scotland's World Cup win over Haiti - but admitted he was left "annoyed" at full-time.
The Aston Villa captain scored the winning goal for the Scots to provide their first three points at the tournament in 36 years as he capped it off with a man of the match award from the sponsors.
It was an exhausting evening of football with the Haitians putting in a shift and competing until the end. But McGinn's 28-minute strike was enough to seal the victory and put Scotland top of their group.
Steve Clarke's troops had chances to put the game to bed and McGinn himself was guilty of missing a significant chance in the second-half as he sent a strike wide of the post. And that, the midfielder says, irked him as he wanted to double his goals tally and make the match more comfortable.

"It hasn't really sunk in yet," McGinn said. "I've just seen my family and they're all greeting their eyes out. But for me it's not sunk in yet.
"I'm annoyed that I didn't get the second goal but, aye, it's incredible. I don't think it will sink in for a while but I want more. I want a second and third and hopefully kick on in the group."
McGinn acknowledged it was a tough task but Scotland stood firm. "It wasn't stress free but it was never going to be. We analysed them deeply, they gave New Zealand a doing, they gave Peru a right run for their money up until 85 minutes so they're a tricky team.
"This was a really tough game for us and we've managed to come through it with three points and a clean sheet which is the main thing."
