As the manager of Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson's judgement was rarely wrong but a prediction made following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager in 2015 will go down as one of his greatest.
Five years ago Liverpool made the swift move of hiring Klopp after sacking Brendan Rodgers and the German made a promise that he would bring back the glory days to the club.
And he has emphatically backed up his words, winning the Champions League, Club World Cup and Premier League.
When Ferguson retired from football in 2013 after winning a 13th Premier League title, few would have expected United to go seven years without lifting the trophy again.
But perhaps Ferguson knew his old club could be in trouble when in 2015 he praised Klopp's qualities.
"Well it’s a good appointment. I admire him," he told ESPN.
"I know Jurgen pretty well through our meetings at [FIFA] coaches’ classes in Geneva.
“He's a strong personality, very strong, very stubborn, determined and his performances, and his career at Dortmund was a stellar rise to the top and I think he’ll do very well.
“I don’t like saying that, being Liverpool, because I’m worried about it but, no, he’ll do well.”
Despite the fierce rivalry between Liverpool and United, Ferguson was among the first to congratulate Klopp on winning the title in June.
And Klopp revealed he responded to Ferguson's message with a phone call in the early hours of the morning.
He said: "The problem was that I came back late in my room that night and I couldn’t sleep immediately so I went through the messages I got and one of them was from Alex Ferguson.
“I just replied in a very polite way I think. It was about 3.30am-4am and I didn’t expect him to have his phone next to his bed. I didn’t want to wake him up. If that happened then sorry Alex."
