What Ainsley Maitland-Niles said to James Maddison after red card

Arsenal followed the recent trend of all the sides challenging for a top four place at the end of the season by dropping yet more points on Sunday.

The Gunners went down 3-0 to a vibrant Leicester City side at the King Power Stadium, and although the Foxes' goals all came in the second half via one from Youri Tielemans and a late brace from Jamie Vardy - the game's big turning point came in the first period.

It was then that the youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles was sent off for two bookable offences with the score at 0-0, with his second challenge going in on Leicester's James Maddison.

There were a few suggestions that Maddison 'bought' the decision as it was something of a soft one, with the challenge taking place on the halfway line and leading to Michael Oliver awarding the second yellow.

The distraught Maitland-Niles could then be seen walking towards Maddison and shaking his head, with Sky Sports coverage showing him mouthing the words "that's poor man" to Maddison.
