'What a team!' - Tottenham Hotspur fans rejoice as Tanguy Ndombele makes home debut

Tottenham Hotspur fans are itching to see their new man in action after Tanguy Ndombele was given his home debut against Inter Milan.

The Frenchman joined Spurs for a club-record fee of around £55m this summer from Lyon.

The 22-year-old's arrival has been well received by the supporters, with this their first foray into the transfer market since the summer of 2017.

Ndombele will make his home debut this afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino’s team when they take on Inter in their final pre-season match of the summer.

He will line-up alongside Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko in midfield in what appears to be a 4-4-2 diamond set-up.

Harry Kane joins Lucas Moura in attack, with Son Heung-Min on the bench, alongside Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.

Whilst there are doubt over the future of Eriksen and Alderweireld, Tottenham fans were delighted to see their marquee signing in action.

Here’s how they reacted on social media.

Full Tottenham team: Lloris; Walker-Peters, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose; Winks, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lamela; Kane, Moura.
