'What a team!' - Tottenham fans love what Jose Mourinho has done for vital clash against Chelsea

Jose Mourinho has named his Tottenham team for this afternoon's crunch clash against Chelsea.

The Lilywhites are currently one point behind their London rivals in the league table and they will move ahead of them and into fourth with three points at Stamford Bridge.

However, Spurs have a number of injuries to contend with and need other players to step up and find the net with Son Heung-min now joining Harry Kane on the sidelines.

Well, following Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, Mourinho has shuffled his pack for the huge match in the race for a top-four spot.

The big news is that Tanguy Ndombele, who impressed off the bench in midweek against the German side, starts for Spurs after missing out on the starting XI in recent weeks.

Japhet Tanganga and Jan Vertonghen also come into the side, with Serge Aurier, Gedson Fernandes and Dele Alli the ones to miss out.

Fans have been desperate for Ndombele to start in recent weeks and Mourinho's selection has gone down extremely well amongst the fanbase.

Here's what Tottenham fans have had to say on Twitter.

Spurs did have the chance to leapfrog Chelsea in the league table the last time the sides met back in December but they fell to a 2-0 defeat in north London.

Asked at his pre-match press conference if he will take a different approach against his former club this time, Mourinho said: "I have to see what players I have available, their condition. We don't have the same players as we had in the first matches.

"I was told they were back to a back five which is what they normally do when their results are not the best.

"They did that when they went to Lille, they did that when they came to us, a system they played for a few us, and are very comfortable with.

"It is a system very adapted to their routine and the qualities of their players. But they have so many options that they can do what the manager decides to do.

"At the moment we don't have many options to think in the game on the tactical approach. We have what we have, with the players I have available, we have to try to build a competitive team."
