'What a relief' - Nottingham Forest star makes admission after fightback at Barnsley

Nottingham Forest produced an impressive comeback against Barnsley to take all three points at Oakwell on Wednesday night.

It was head coach Steve Cooper's second game in charge and he introduced Philip Zinckernagel to the attack in the absence of Lewis Grabban.

Forest fell a goal behind in the 20th minute through a Cauley Woodrow penalty before the Danish forward levelled matters.

Brennan Johnson then added to his personal tally, scoring the Reds' second goal of the night and his second of the campaign.

Grabban, who had come off the bench, then sealed the 3-1 win, having being introduced on the hour mark.

Afterwards, Zinckernagel admitted it was a "relief" to come away with a victory on the back of a fine second-half display.

"What a relief," he told Forest club media. "Not our best first half and maybe a little bit too easy goal, I don't know if it was a penalty or not but really strong comeback, second half was much better.

"When we changed the formation as well was good, sometimes you need to switch on and try new stuff - second half was nice, much better."

Forest have now moved away from the relegation zone and sit in 20th place on eight points, above Barnsley on goal difference.
