'What a player!' - Tottenham fans go wild after what Ryan Sessegnon did for Hoffenheim

Tottenham Hotspur left-sided star Ryan Sessegnon helped Hoffenheim secure their fourth Bundesliga victory of the season on Saturday afternoon, netting a late winner to help them beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1.

Despite being six points worse off than Marco Rose's side at kick-off, Hoffenheim scored twice in the final 15 minutes to secure a much-needed victory, with Sessegnon scoring an 86th-minute winner at the back-post, after Andrej Kramaric had cancelled out Lars Stindl's opener.

Sessegnon's late heroics marked his second goal for the club since arriving on loan from Spurs back in October.

Though the former Fulham star can operate as a left-winger, he has been utilised primarily as a left-back during his time in Germany so far.

Though the 20-year-old has had to showcase his defensive qualities since arriving in the Bundesliga, the Spurs youngster showed what he can do in attacking scenarios by popping up with a late winner.

His goal for Hoffenheim certainly attracted no shortage of attentions from Spurs supporters, who have been alerted to the youngster's goal on social media.

The goal, although it was nothing particularly spectacular, has been lavished with praise by Spurs supporters, who have been congratulating the England Under-21 international on his winner.

Here is how some Spurs fan have reacted on Twitter to Sessegnon's second goal of his loan spell in Germany...

Only recently, Sessegnon revealed that Jose Mourinho, the Spurs head coach, had sent a message to him after he scored his first Hoffenheim goal against Stuttgart last month.

"The gaffer, Jose, sends me a message now and again after games," the England U21 international told Sky Sports News. "When I scored he said, 'good goal carry on', a little motivational message."

Once Sessegnon's time in Germany comes to an end at the end of the season, the youngster will be hoping he has done enough to cement himself in Mourinho's plans ahead of next term, something Sessegnon has confirmed he has his sights set on.

He added: "That's the aim [to get into Mourinho's team next season]. That is why I am here, to get more experience, more games in a top league and then come back and be ready to play games next year with Spurs."
