And one player in particular is already earning rave reviews on social media.
The Blues will be well represented across the globe over the next week or so with as many as 10 first-team players being away from Cobham as well as many talented youngsters and those out on loan for the season.
This list includes the likes of Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, Kepa, Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud among plenty others.
Italy duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri have also been called up by ex-Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini for the double-header against Armenia and Finland.
The first of which is already underway and the latter registered an assist to get the 2012 European Championship finalists back on level terms.
Doing well to get to the byline and escaping the attentions of his marker, Emerson picked out Andrea Belotti at the back post and the Torino star - once linked with a move to Stamford Bridge - made no mistake.
It's been a fine start to the season for Emerson at club level as he's displaced Marcos Alonso at left-back and his confidence is sure to increase following this assist.
Chelsea fans absolutely loved what the defender did.
