'What a beauty' - Bristol Rovers fans react to new all blue away kit

Admittedly it's a little late to be unveiling a new away kit, given the season kicked off a week ago, but good things come to those who wait and Bristol Rovers fans were treated to an unveiling of the strip on Saturday.

During half-time of their 0-0 draw with Wycombe Wanderers at the Mem, a sleek video of the all blue shirt was broadcast on the big screen and then the club tweeted the footage within minutes of full-time.

Modelled by Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, the shirt is predominantly navy blue but with an almost neon blue trim and, slightly controversial, badge while there is a subtle triangle details towards the bottom.

The thought-process behind the design was to use colours, or shades, that haven't been used before on a Bristol Rovers kit, giving it a unique identity.

The response, as was the case with the home kit, has been overwhelmingly positive with the plan for it to be debuted against Coventry City next Saturday ...

George Caunter: Best away kit for a while.

Steve Reynolds: Not sure about the club badge though?? Rest of it is cool.

Alex Jones: At least it's not yellow!
