We’re on to Super Bowl LIV — 54 if you are counting — and somehow four teams have not made it to the big game. Who are they?
Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have not made it to the Super Bowl in either incanation. However, the Baltimore Ravens, who left Cleveland, of course, have been to the game and won it. Doesn’t help the long-suffering Browns fans.
Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have made it to one Conference championship game in the Super Bowl era. That came following the 1991 season when the Lions downed the Dallas Cowboys to advance to a matchup with Washington. The game was a no-contest as Washington rolled, 41-10. The last eight times Detroit has made the playoffs it has been a Wild Card and it has lost every playoff game.
Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have an excuse since they were an expansion team that started play in the NFL in 2002. Houston has lost three Divisional playoff games in its five postseason appearances.
Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars came into the NFL for the 1995 season. The Jags have made it to the Conference championship three times, losing each. The first time they made it that far was in their second season when they defeated the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos by a 30-27 score in each game before being bounced by the New England Patriots, 20-6.
