What 19 West Ham players are doing on international duty and where they’re playing

West Ham United will have 19 players on international duty this month for the final international break before the World Cup.

Of the 19, 12 of David Moyes’ first-team senior players will be away with their countries, while three players currently on loan with other clubs and four academy players make up the international Irons list.

Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen are once again with the England squad for their UEFA Nations League matches against Italy and Germany. Against the Italians, they could face Irons duo Gianluca Scamacca and Emerson , while their game against Germany could pit them against Hammers defender Thilo Kehrer . Scamacca, Emerson and Kehrer are also in line to play against Hungary in their respective nations’ other match this month.

Also in the Nations League, goalkeeper Alphonse Areola will be hoping to add to his three France caps against Austria and Denmark. Forward Nikola Vlasic , currently on loan at Torino, is with the Croatia squad, who also face Denmark and Austria this month.

Czech Republic have regular West Ham duo Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek in their squad for their final Nations League group matches against Portugal and Switzerland.

For Brazil and midfielder Lucas Paqueta , he is heading back to France, the nation of his former club Lyon, for friendlies against African nations Ghana and Tunisia. Maxwel Cornet is with Ivory Coast’s squad for friendlies against Togo and Guinea, while striker Michail Antonio will look to impress for Jamaica against Argentina.

Also in friendly action with the Democratic Republic of Congo is left-back Arthur Masuaku , currently on loan at Besiktas. They are due to play Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone in friendly matches.

Midfielder Conor Coventry and forward Mipo Odubeko , currently on loan with Port Vale, are with the Republic of Ireland’s under-21s squad. They face a double header against Israel in qualification for next year’s Under-21s European Championships in Romania and Georgia. A win over two legs for Ireland would book their place in the group stage of the competition.

Young striker Divin Mubama is in the England Under-19s squad for matches against Montenegro, Georgia and Denmark as they kickstart their qualifying campaign for next year’s Under-19s European Championships. Academy trio Michael Forbes , Callum Marshall and Patrick Kelly are all part of Northern Ireland’s squad for qualifiers against Slovenia, Netherlands and Moldova.
