Wexford hurling star Lee Chin caught 'napping' in humorous video to promote club fundraiser

Hurling ace Lee Chin has been videoed snuggled up under the duvet - but he's not sleeping on the job.

The Wexford star may well be resting up ahead of his county’s semi-final clash with Tipperary at the weekend, but this bedroom broadcast is all for a good cause.

Chin’s own side, the Faythe Harriers, Wexford town, have launched a bumper draw to raise cash for the club.

The top prize is a brand new house in Maynooth, Co Kildare.

1996 All Ireland winner Larry O’Gorman and flying forward Chin have now hooked for a comical sketch set in the bedroom of the house, which is worth a whopping €405,000.

Larry wakes Lee chanting the Wexford anthem “Dancing at the Crossroads” and nagging: “Do you want to go for a run brother?”

But a reluctant Chin won’t budge from his cosy position.

Domestic bliss reigns when Larry serves up a tasty breakfast in bed.

The video has gone viral and organisers hope it will help sell tickets for the mega raffle.

The lucky winner will scoop the three bed semi at Carton Woods, Maynooth, after coughing up just €100 to enter.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has even thrown his hat in the race.

He snapped up a ticket during a whistle stop tour of Wexford last Thursday.

Local business man and committee member, Anthony Neville, said: “It was great to get support from An Taoiseach.”

You can buy tickets at www.winthehouse.ie.
