Pub giant JD Wetherspoons has once again ditched a traditional Christmas menu and will now be providing punters with festive burgers and paninis instead.
The pub chain has 900 establishments in the UK and has decided not to serve up turkey with all the trimmings.
A new menu contains a few festive burgers such as bacon and brie, brie, cranberry and veggies and also chicken and stuffing that punters can get their teeth into for £7.65 with a soft drink and £9.15 with an boozy beveridge.
But if a burger isn't what you fancy, punters can opt for a 'festive' pizza as there are two different ranges of toppings from a chicken, stuffing, bacon and brie and also also smoky chilli jam and brie.
But for lighter bites, punters can opt for festive paninis instead.
JD Wetherspoon decided to axe Sunday roast dinners back in 2016 due to “commercial reasons”.
Many slammed the new festive menu.
One said: "What's black, hard, lumpy and dished out in December? Wetherspoons' Christmas dinner."
Another added: "It’s all a bit ‘Bah, humbug’. What’s got into them?
"Most of their customers are working class. Not many brickies are going to prefer a posh panini over a roast."
Just last month, the pub chain launched its own cut-price deal following the end of the successful Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
The company slashed its prices on a range of meals and drinks to compete with McDonald's and Domino's Pizza in the replacement offer.
Their new 'Stay Out To Help Out' will run every Monday to Wednesday until November 11.
It follows the end of the government’s drive to encourage diners to eat at restaurants and pubs by subsidising meals during the month of August.
