Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and many will be planning ahead for the most romantic day of the year.
Some will be planning on whisking their other half away for the weekend, while others will be heading out to buy lavish gifts.
But not everyone can afford to break the bank when Valentine’s Day rolls around.
Wetherspoons is giving couples the chance to keep it low key and local this February 14 with its £20 meal deal.
The deal includes two mains, two desserts and two drinks for £20, and there’s plenty to choose from.
Mains on the menu include an eight ounce sirloin steak, a mixed grill, bbq chicken melt, triple chicken feast, chicken and rib combo, bbq pork ribs, Mediterranean vegetable lasagna and a gourmet vegan burger.
When choosing dessert visitors can take their pick from chocolate fudge cake, a chocolate brownie, a cookie dough sandwich, fresh fruit or Bramley apple crumble - which all come paired with ice cream.
Drinks include a range of draught beers, wines, ciders, soft drinks and tea and coffee.
Diners can also choose to upgrade their drinks to a bottle of prosecco for an extra £5.
The deal is available in more than 600 Wetherspoons pubs across the UK, so products and pricing may vary.
