Wetherspoons fans have mocked a pub-goer who claims to have smashed the record for "the longest chip ever" by photoshopping his discovery.
Ryan Mellor posted a photo of his giant potato chip on Facebook after grabbing some food and booze at The Richard John Blackler, Liverpool.
But while some people were surprised, other 'Spoons fans claimed Ryan had actually photoshopped the chip to its extreme length.
Many then took to editing apps themselves to craft caricatures of his find, with some hilariously extending the chip even further by duplicating it or colouring in the image.
One user even added yellow marker to bend the chip around to form a phallic outline, making it look as if Ryan's pal was holding the rude drawing.

Since posting his image captioned "longest chip record?", Ryan, from Crewe, Cheshire, has not responded to any of the 130 comments.
A person wrote: "I'm impressed and confusingly aroused by that chip."
Another added: "That's humongous."
However, not everyone believed the item to be just one chip, with a person saying: "Photoshopped at it finest. Anything to be centre of attention lol."
One more commented: "Absolute fraudster. Remove yourself."

Earlier this month, Harry Tayler hit the headlines after finding what he claimed to be "'the longest chip ever seen", stretching a giant 13.4 inches, but there were also claims he was joining two chips together.
Ryan Mellor provided details of where his discovery was made but declined to comment further on the find.
Last month, another Wetherspoon fan also claimed he was served "the world's longest chip" measuring at an enormous 18.5 inches.
Sam Mumford posted a photo of the giant chip on Facebook, claiming it arrived with his chicken burger at The Black Boy pub in Newtown, Powys, Wales.
The post shows Sam's mate holding up the huge chip to the camera, holding a pint of Brewdog ale in his other hand for scale.
The photo, which Sam shared in a Facebook group specifically for Wetherspoons fans, picked up a lot of attention as viewers praised his "utterly massive length".
However, some people were not entirely convinced by Sam's discovery and questioned his claims.
