Two men were arrested after a group of Wetherspoons customers 'started a fight when refused service'.

The 'disturbance' happened outside The Ford Madox Brown on Wilmslow Road near Rusholme at around 9.30pm on Sunday night (July 25).

A group of customers who were sitting outside the pub started 'fighting amongst themselves when they had been refused service', a spokesperson for the pub chain said.

Police officers intervened and two men, aged 25 and 29, were arrested on suspicion of affray.
