Wetherspoon confirms the 6 Nottingham pubs reopening next month

Six Wetherspoon pubs in Nottingham will be opening their beer gardens from Monday, April 12, it has been confirmed.

A scaled back menu will be on offer including breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals, fish and chips and British classics.

Food will be available seven days a week from 9am to 8pm, seven days a week, and there is no need to book a table.

Customers will be able to order and pay through the Wetherspoon app, however, staff will be able to take orders and payment at the table from those who don’t have the app.

Among those reopening are the Free Man in Carlton Street and the Gooseberry Bush in Peel Street, Nottingham.

Also welcoming customers back next month are the Admiral Sir John Borlase Warren, in Derby Road, Stapleford, the Woodthorpe Top, Woodthorpe Drive, Mapperley, and the Last Post, in Chilwell Road, Beeston.

The patio outside the William Peverel in Main Street, Bulwell, be also be open.

Customers will be able to enter the pubs to gain access to the outside area and also to use the toilet.

Test and trace will be in operation and hand sanitisers will be available.

Operating hours will be 9am to 9pm (Sunday to Thursday) and 9am to 10pm (Friday and Saturday).

Richard Shaw, pub manager at The Free Man, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and staff back after a long time away.”
