There is plenty of rain on the forecast over the weekend across Merseyside.
According to the Met Office the weather will remain unsettled, with spells of wet and windy conditions. On Friday, January 6, it will be dry, bright and breezy in the morning, however cloud will increase in the afternoon.
Into the afternoon scattered showers will develop however it will be another mild day, with highs of 10C. Into Saturday it will be a wet and windy start.

Rain will clear eastwards during the morning but will be replaced by a mix of sunshine and scattered blustery showers for the afternoon. Sunday and Monday will both be mixed with sunshine and further blustery showers.
The BBC outlook for next week, from Sunday to Tuesday, reads: "Sunday will be a cloudy and breezy day with showery outbreaks of rain moving in at times.
"Monday will be another cloudy day with a few showers around through the day, which may be heavy in places. Tuesday will have a cloudy start before a band of heavy and blustery rain moves in from the south-west."
