Westlife star Nicky Byrne shares stunning aerial video of Dublin as band touch down for Croke Park show

With just one day to go until their triumphant homecoming shows, Westlife have returned to Irish shores.

The band will play their first Irish shows in seven years at Croke Park on Friday and Saturday and they're clearly very excited to be appearing before their Irish fans once again.

After a string of dates across the UK, the group made an appearance at the Nibe festival in Denmark over the weekend before jetting in to Dublin.

Band member Nicky Byrne is clearly relishing the prospect, sharing a stunning aerial clip of the Drumcondra venue as the plane prepared to land.

Captioning the vid "Home Sweet Home", Nicky said: "Dublin Ireland we have arrived and the old lady is looking stunning! Who’s coming?"

Westlife will play Croke Park on Friday and Saturday, 5 and 6 July.

Support on both nights will come from Wild Youth and James Arthur.

A limited number of tickets for the shows are still available on Ticketmaster.
