Westlife star Nicky Byrne says working from home has been 'one hell of an experience' as he teases new single

Westlife star Nicky Byrne has said that recording the new album at home has been “one hell of an experience”.

Westlife has been working on their new album for months. Nicky confirmed that it is now fully recorded and will be released in the next two or three months, just in time for Christmas.

Taking to his Instagram account, the singer said that he had some interruptions while working from home such as his dog barking and the WIFI dropping out.

In the post, he shared a look inside his home recording studio complete with a piano, speakers, and a display case full of awards.

He captained the snap: “Recording our new album individually - and remotely from our homes has been one hell of an experience!

“Dogs Barking, doorbell going, WIFI dropping out to mention just a few but we got there in the end!

“Now fully recorded, it’s currently in the oven and cooking time is approx 2/3 months.

“We may open the oven door at some point to sample our brand spanking new single as a starter… in the meantime trust me - it’s starting to smell Devine! @westlife

“For now our working title shall be.. #BangersNSmash.”

Fans of Westlife have been flocking to the comments. Some eagle-eyed fans spotted Nicky’s typo and think that it could be a hint of something to do with the new album.

Mandy says: “Devine? Is that a play on words and a clue to the name of the album/single?”

Another eagle-eyed fan commented: “Is ‘Devine’ a hint or red herring…??”

Other fans couldn't hold in their excitement for the band's new music.

Michelle says: “Can’t wait to hear it.”

While Nicole commented: “Amazing news! This is what we’ve all been waiting for. Bring it on.”

Irish DJ and radio presenter Jenny Greene also left a humorous comment on Nicky’s post. She said: “Aw I’m just glad it’s not another photo of u in a paddy cap.”
