Westlife star Mark Feehily has announced he is expecting a baby with his fiancé Cailean O’Neill.
The Westlife star and his beau will become first time dads later this year and they have shared a snap of the scan with fans.
The exciting news comes as the singer celebrated his 39th birthday today, RSVP Live reports.
“Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone,” he began.
“It really makes this my most special birthday EVER to let everyone know that later this year we will become Dads for the first time.”
“This is the proudest moment of our lives and we are beyond excited to say it out loud,” added the Sligo man.
His bandmate Kian Egan was quick to comment on the news as the When You’re Looking Like That hitmakers continue their world tour following the opening night in Belfast last week.
“Such huge excitement here today. Not only is it Mark’s birthday, but then for him and Cailean to share the news that they are having a baby.
“You gotta love this Westlife family. 10 Westlife babies now,” said the former Voice of Ireland judge.
Last February, Mark and Cailean became engaged in the Maldives.
After keeping his romance under wraps for the past four years, Mark said: “2019 has been so amazing to me so far and it’s only getting started.
“I wanted to be the first to say it... #engaged.”
Mark previously told that the pair were looking at surrogacy and adoption as possible avenues to become parents.
“I do really believe that it would be a great job... I would be a great Dad, we would be great parents,” he said.
“I am looking into all the options and obviously it is a little more complex for a gay couple than a heterosexual couple because they can just do it - literally.
“I am more ready now then I ever have been, I have never felt more eager and broody.”
