Westlife's Twenty greatest hits tour to screen live in Newcastle cinemas

Westlife are hitting the road on their sell out Twenty tour but if you haven't got a ticket there is another way to see the Irish lads in action.

After teasing fans with news of a big announcement, Westlife officially confirmed they'd be coming back in October last year, by announcing a series of tour dates all over the UK.

One of those was at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on Friday, May 31 which sold out as soon as it went on sale. That was quickly followed by the announcement of a second show on Saturday, June 1.

Limited tickets for that one are still available from Ticketmaster but if you're still without a ticket you can grab your popcorn and see the guys on the big screen at a number of cinemas in the Newcastle area.

For one night only on Saturday, July 6, Westlife fans will be able to join Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark as they perform to a capacity crowd at Dublin's Croke Park.

‘The Twenty Tour' is Westlife's fastest selling tour of all time and coincides will Westlife say new album Spectrum is their best yet ahead of Twenty tour coming to Newcastle The band sold an incredible 400,000 tickets in just 48 hours.

The live broadcast will see the global pop kings perform brand new songs, alongside their greatest hits and all 14 of their UK No.1 hits including as Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, You Raise Me Up and Unbreakable.

"It’s going to be a phenomenal night!”

Presented by CinemaLive, leading producers and distributors of event cinema, Westlife: The Twenty Tour Live from Croke Park will be broadcast direct via satellite to over 600 cinemas in the UK and Ireland, including major multiplexes and many independent cinemas and arts centres.
