Westlife's second Twenty Tour Croke Park gig to be shown live in cinemas across Ireland

Westlife are bringing their second Croke Park show live to cinemas across Ireland.

Answering the prayers of fans who failed to secure a ticket, the boys have announced that they will finish their final show of the UK and Ireland leg of their Twenty Tour with a bang on Saturday, July 6, with live screenings nationwide.

In celebration of their sold out final show of the UK and Ireland tour, the highly anticipated performance will be broadcast live via satellite from Croke Park to over 600 cinemas in Ireland and the UK.

This will be include major multiplexes and independent cinemas and art centres.

The Twenty Tour is Westlife’s fastest selling tour of all time, having sold a massive 400,000 tickets in just 48 hours.

Their new singles ‘Hello My Love’ and ‘Better Man’ have also gone straight to the top of the iTunes charts.

The live broadcast will see the four-piece band perform their new songs alongside their most loved hits including ‘Swear It Again’ and the iconic‘Flying Without Wings’.

Making the announcement, Westlife told fans: “We have been overwhelmed with the incredible reaction to the tour and we’re so happy that our fans will now have the chance to enjoy the show in cinemas across the world.

“Croke Park has always been a special place for us and we can’t wait to be back there. It’s going to be a phenomenal night!”

The tickets go on sale this Friday, April 12 and those interested can find out if a cinema near you will be showing the concert at www.CinemaLive.com

This summer, the band made up of Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan will reunite to perform together for the first time since their farewell tour in 2012.
