Westlife officially release highly anticipated new 11-track album Spectrum

Westlife have officially released their first album since rejoining in 2018.

The popular Irish boyband's new 11-track album Spectrum is available from today - Friday.

Their new music comes off the back of their Twenty Tour which sold 600,000 tickets across 13 countries.

Speaking following the release, the band said: “We have all been driven by trying to create the best album of our careers. We wanted to make something current, something that feels fresh.

"The huge success of our comeback single ‘Hello My Love’ gave us the confidence that our fans and the public were completely up for a new album of original songs.

"We’ve probably had more input into this album than any other in our careers.

"‘Spectrum’ has everything we love in music and includes a mixture of great up-tempo’s such as ‘Hello My Love’ as well as heartfelt ballads like ‘Better Man’ and ‘My Blood’. We’re excited for everyone to hear it."

Bandmates Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan are to follow up on their Croke Park gigs last summer, with shows at London's Wembley Stadium and Cork's Pairc Ui Chaoimh in August 2020.

Tickets for the Cork concert are available now on Ticketmaster.
