Western Michigan and Central Michigan played in a glorious snowstorm and football fans were enthralled

The weather outside may be frightful in Michigan, but college football went on between these two rivals despite the snowy conditions.

On Wednesday, Western Michigan and Central Michigan played during the midst of a snowstorm, much to the delight of college football fans everywhere. With Buffalo set to get hammered by over a foot of snow ahead of the upcoming Bills game this weekend, this may just be the appetizer before the main course for fans of snowy football games.

The in-game action was just as you’d expect it to be for a snow game, with chaos around every corner and gorgeous views as the snow blocked sight of the lines on the field. Plus, the jokes from the announcers really completed the experience.

The players also were having fun themselves, as we even got a snow angel sack celebration!

Here’s how the view looked inside the stadium as fans huddled together for warmth covered in snow.

College football fans were completely enthralled by the snow game between Western Michigan and Central Michigan.
