Can I recycle my old drive at Western Digital?

What is Western Digital's returns policy?
You can return your Western Digital purchase within 30 days of it being shipped to you. If you have ordered software you won’t be able to return it if you’ve received a download link or got the license key through email. To start a return you need to go to the ‘Order History’ section of your account, or if you used the guest checkout, you need to call the customer service team.

Check the clearance section
You can also pick up older models at a discount through the clearance section, where Western Digital offers up to 40% off the last of stock it wants to shift to help it sell. Get a student discount
Students and teachers can save 20% on Western Digital items when they verify their status with Youth Discount. Get a senior discount

As with the student discount, this process can be repeated for future orders, but the code cannot be combined with other promotions for additional savings.
Buy recertified
If you don't need your tech to be brand spanking new, you can save up to 40% by shopping the recertified section of the Western Digital range. Items here are second hand or open-box returns that have been inspected to ensure they offer like-new functionality, making for a great way to get better prices versus buying fresh out-of-the-box models.
