Westbrook tells Kevin Hart he could beat LeBron in game of 1-on-1

Russell Westbrook and LeBron James have become friends over their time in the NBA but, friendship aside, the Thunder point guard believes he would beat James in a game of 1-on-1.

Westbrook appeared on the latest episode of Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls on the Laugh Out Loud comedy network and showed off his friendly side, with the two discussing Westbrook’s chances of beating James 1-on-1.

According to Westbrook:

LeBron James will not win, and he’s a good friend of mine. I’m just letting you know. I’m winning.

A game of 1-on-1 between Westbrook and James would surely be entertaining given the style of play for each player, but Westbrook may have a tough time given James’ size.

With All-Star Weekend set to kick off Friday, many fans would likely enjoy a 1-on-1 matchup between these two stars. For the time being, though, we can only imagine what would happen, with Westbrook perhaps having a chance over James due to his athleticism.

After James traded Westbrook to Team Giannis to pair up with Joel Embiid at the All-Star Game, Westbrook may be a bit more motivated to beat James for teaming him up with his apparent enemy.
