West Virginia OT Yodny Cajuste to meet with Texans

The Houston Texans are doing their due diligence when it comes to the tackle class in the 2019 NFL draft.

According to Cajuste via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans have scheduled a formal meeting with West Virginia offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste Thursday evening.

WalterFootball.com has Cajuste ranked as the 13th-best tackle in the 2019 draft class. With a projection of going anywhere between the third and the fifth round, Houston is evaluating talent to see if they can address the secondary with the first part of their top-100 picks and perhaps address the offensive line with a pick like Cajuste in the third round.

With a pick like Cajuste, it would play into the scenario that the club is looking to groom an eventual replacement for Seantrel Henderson, who general manager Brian Gaine already envisions as the starting right tackle in 2019.
