Dec. 01--A manhunt is underway in West Virginia after authorities say four people were shot to death at three locations in northern West Virginia Monday morning.
West Virginia State Police say they're looking for 39-year-old Jody Lee Hunt of Westover, W.V. He is believed to be driving a black 2011 Ford F150 with a blacked out license plate and a cover over the bed.
Police in Westover say they received an emergency call early Monday morning and responded to a tow truck business after a report of a possible shooting, and discovered an adult male victim.
At another location, police found the bodies of Michael Frum, 28, and Sharon Berkshire, 39. They were found at a home on Sunset Beach Road in Morgantown and both had been shot, said Lt. Mike Baylous of the West Virginia State Police. Baylous says police aren't sure what the relationship between Frum and Berkshire was, but that the two victims did know each other.
Another man was found dead at a home on Sweet Pea Lane, also in the Morgantown area, according to Mike Wolfe of the Monongalia County Emergency Management Agency. No information was immediately available as to whether Hunt knew any of the victims.
Several schools in Monongalia County have been placed on lockdown as a precaution, said Westover police Sgt. Matthew Starsick, but none of the schools are believed to be targets or related to the deaths in any way.
No further information was immediately available. Westover police have delayed a press conference scheduled for 4 p.m. local time.
