April 04--Murder charges have been filed against a 27-year-old Lawndale neighborhood man accused in the killings of three men in 2010 in the Little Village neighborhood.

Felix Hollimon, 27, of the 1400 block of South Spaulding Avenue, was charged with three counts of murder, according to police. He was also wanted on a warrant.

Holliman is slated to appear in bond court Saturday at the Leighton Criminal Court building.

On June 19, 2010 in the 2200 block of South Springfield Avenue, three men were found shot about 3 p.m., police said.

Victims included a 25-year-old man who was dead on the scene, and a 45 and 28-year-old who were taken to Mount Sinai with multiple gunshot wounds and were later pronounced dead, police said.

Ogden District officers heard gunshots in the area, toured it and found the three victims, police said. Two of them lived at the same address and all three share the same last name.

One of the victims was found shot in the driver's seat of a vehicle, while a second victim was found shot in the driver's seat of another, police said. They added that a third victim was found lying on the ground wounded.

Waseem and Barry Smith both lived at the same address in the 2200 block of South Springfield, according to the medical examiner's office and court records; Leon Smith lived in the in the 3500 block of West Cermak Road, about a half-mile west of where the three were found shot.

Waseem Smith was killed by a gunshot wound to the head, and the other two men died from multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner's office later determined.

Hollimon was arrested in the 3700 block of South Ellis Avenue at approximately 2:40 p.m. Thursday.
