Clubs have united to back Gartcairn's West of Scotland League legal threat with promotion set to be axed from the tier seven conferences.
The new-look league has been plunged into chaos with 14 teams set to pull out of the competition before a ball has been kicked on October 24.
Sources have told Lanarkshire Live Sport that promotion and relegation between the Premier Division and three conferences will now be removed after the mass exodus.
MTC Park chairman Martin Peacock yesterday confirmed Cairn will fight the decision in the courts if they are not given the chance to be promoted from Conference B.
Since the challenge was the Gartcairn committee have been in touch with several sides regarding a legal fight with the West of Scotland League.
It is understood that Drumchapel, Lesmahagow and Royal Albert have all told the Airdrie chiefs they would back any action taken.
So far Auchinleck Talbout, Cumnock Juniors, Petershill, Kilbirnie Ladeside and Whittlets have all announced they will withdraw from the inaugural campaign.
Promotion and relegation is to be removed between in divisions if even one team follows through with the threat by 5pm today.
