The West of Scotland League Premier Division could be split into two conferences with clubs facing a 28-game campaign.
The proposed set-up will see tier six divide to two mini-divisions of 10 teams with home and away games to be played between the sides.

Following the 18 games the clubs will face each other, but will only play one game against teams outside of their original 10-team rank.
The home or away clash will add another 10 games, making it a 28-game season.
The league winners and relegations will then be decided on points, with the two sections being brought together.

Lanarkshire Live Sport understands final details and approval has to be received for the plan to be green lit.
The non-league is set to kick-off on October 10.
