West Norwood shooting: first picture of man shot dead in south London

Victim: Ramane Wiggan was shot dead in south London earlier this week

This is the first picture of a 25-year-old man who was shot dead in south London earlier this week.

Ramane Wiggan, from Tulse Hill, was killed in West Norwood on Wednesday.

The victim was shot in the chest on a third-floor walkway on a housing estate in Friar Mews.

Police and paramedics were called at around 4.10pm.

Medics and bystanders battled to save him but he died at the scene 30 minutes later.

His next of kin have been informed.

A post mortem examination found the provisional cause of death to be a gunshot wound.

Two 27-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released on bail to a date in late April.

Inquiries are ongoing, and police urged members of the public who saw the shooting or have information or dash cam footage to come forward.
