West Lothian trio learn Scottish Cup opponents

Blackburn United have been handed a first ever Scottish Cup home tie.

The Burnie are set to welcome Lowland League outfit Civil Service Strollers to the Purdie Worldwide Community Stadium in a second preliminary round clash.

A win would see United into the first round proper for the first time in the club’s history.

Elsewhere, both Linlithgow Rose and Broxburn Athletic have been handed favourable away draws in the second preliminary round after receiving a bye.

The Rose will face West of Scotland outfit Glasgow University while the Brox - who reached the fourth round in their maiden Scottish Cup campaign last season - travel south to take on South of Scotland side Newton Stewart.

All three ties are scheduled for December 12.
