West Lothian yobs target home in 'deliberate' garden shed fire attack

Police are probing a ‘deliberate’ fire attack on a home in West Lothian after a garden shed was set alight in an overnight blaze.

Crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue service rushed to the scene at Marches Drive in Armadale following a series of calls from frantic neighbours.

Officers also attended the incident shortly after 1:40am on Sunday morning amid concerns over the nature of the blaze.

It later emerged a shed in the garden of one property had been targeted during the attack, with police treating it as deliberate.

No one was injured as a result of the incident but local officers have now asked for the public’s help in tracing those responsible.
