A West Lothian teen has been seriously assaulted outside his home last night and rushed to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The 18-year-old was attacked while with friends early on Saturday morning outside flats in Blackridge before being rushed to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for his injuries.

The male was later released from hospital after been treated for his injuries and Police Scotland are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the brutal attack.
The assault took place between 7.30am and 7.45 am on Saturday morning, where the teen was attacked outside Louburn flats, Main Street, Blackridge.
The suspect, who was with another man and a woman at the time, is described as white, in his early 20s, of a slim build, dark hair and was wearing dark clothing.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries in the area and checking CCTV.

"Although this attack happened early in the morning, I am sure there would have been people about who saw what happened.
