West Lothian speedway fans set for Armadale Stadium return after 19 months

Armadale Stadium is set to welcome fans back tonight for the first time since October 2019.

A limit of 250 has been placed on the club as the stadium is a mixture of seated and standing. It will be the first sporting event in West Lothian to welcome spectators since the Covid-19 pandemic swept Scotland last March.

The Edinburgh Monarchs and Armadale Devils are set to face-off in a special challenge match featuring riders from both sides.

The Monarchs will be led by Sam Masters, with Richie Worrall taking charge of the Devils. Armadale have been back in action at their home track for the past fortnight behind closed doors, while it’s the first event of the season for the Monarchs.

Fans had to apply for a special ballot with the lucky winners getting to take in the action.
