West Lothian school awarded for helping people with diabetes reach their potential

Williamston Primary School in Livingston has been awarded the Good Diabetes Care in School Award.

Parents and carers nominated the Murieston school for the accolade.

The award recognises schools who make sure children and teenagers with Type 1 diabetes get the care and support they need so they can reach their potential.

A spokeswoman for the school said: “We are delighted that the school and staff team have been recognised for their hard work and support of our young people in this way.”
