Cancer patients will now be able to access face-to-face information and support from Macmillan@WestLothian.
The service has relaunched its face-to face-support service, providing information on cancer, someone to talk to and support around the non-clinical aspects of a cancer diagnosis, including referrals to local organisations such as Macmillan benefits advice.
The face to face element of the service recommenced from September 1 with some slight changes which may be noticed by those who have used the service previously.
For now, the service is available by appointment only at Bathgate Partnership Centre on Wednesdays, Livingston North Partnership Centre (moved from Carmondean Connected to the new library in the former Ability Centre ) on Thursday mornings, Strathbrock Partnership Centre on Tuesday mornings and Fauldhouse Partnership Centre and Blackburn Partnership Centre (both available by appointment).
If you are unable to attend a face to face appointment then it is important to know that support is also available by telephone, email and video call.

Macmillan@WestLothian has also introduced short health walks for anyone affected by cancer, which are led by their friendly volunteers and leave from Bathgate Partnership Centre.
