West Lothian's East of Scotland clubs aiming for first wins of the season

West Lothian's three East of Scotland Premier Division sides are in action tonight and bidding to pick up their first wins of the season.

The new campaign got underway on Saturday after a seven month break but things didn't quite go to plan for Blackburn United, Broxburn Athletic and Linlithgow Rose with the latter being the only side to avoid defeat.

Even then, Brown Ferguson's men had a 90th minute penalty miss to thank as they held on for a 1-1 draw against Crossgates Primrose. They welcome Tynecastle to Prestonfield tonight.

Blackburn United, meanwhile, suffered a 6-0 home loss against Jeanfield Swifts on Saturday but they have the chance to put that firmly to bed tonight as they host Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale.

Chris Townsley's managerial debut with Broxburn Athletic saw them lose 4-1 away to Penicuik Athletic at the weekend and he'll be aiming to get the Brox on the board when they host Camelon at Albyn Park.
