West Lothian road closed in both directions following collision

Police in West Lothian are currently attending an incident in Broxburn.

Officers have issued a warning to drivers that a road traffic collision has taken place in Broxburn leading to the road being closed.

Police Scotland Control Rooms issued a tweet earlier giving some details of the incident.

It said: “Main Street, Broxburn currently closed in both directions due to road traffic collision.”

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that officers were called to deal with the incident at 11.20am this morning.

At present the police have not issued further details of the incident or if there are any casualties.
