West Lothian pupils take to the streets to celebrate Chinese New Year

Pupils from six West Lothian primary schools took part in a procession to mark the Chinese New Year.

The children left from Eastertoun Primary School and they walked to Armadale Primary School where the procession ended.

The six Armadale cluster schools: Armadale, Blackridge, Eastertoun, Southdale, St Anthony’s and Windyknowe Primary Schools all took part in the event on Friday.

Each school carried two dragons along the way, one decked out in traditional Chinese decoration and another representing the school colours.
