West Lothian police seize three vehicles in the first nine miles of shift

West Lothian police say they had to seize three vehicles within the first nine miles of their shift.

Livingston road officers had to pull over the trio of vehicles shortly after departing from the station on Tuesday April 13.

The three vehicles were stopped for having no insurance, and one driver had even been disqualified from driving altogether.

A picture posted by West Lothian cops shows three cars being hauled onto a recovery truck.

Police Scotland took to social media to talk about the busy shift saying: "On the first 9 miles of patrol after leaving the station, #LivingstonRP stopped 3 different vehicles for no insurance.

"One of the vehicles stopped was driven by a disqualified driver!!

"Thankfully they all managed to fit on the same recovery truck!#InsureItOrLoseIt."
