West Lothian Police continue to investigate house attack that left child injured

Police are continuing to investigate a targeted attack on a West Lothian home that left a young child injured and in hospital.

Two men, who are understood to have weapons, stormed the home at Church Place, Fauldhouse, and began threatening the residents around 6.20pm on last Thursday evening.

The child was injured in the incident while two men and a woman suffered minor injuries at the hands of the thugs.

Police officers investigating the attack said it was "targeted" and that the two men are believed to know the occupants.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to an address in Church Place, Fauldhouse, at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, 27 April, after two men arrived at the property threatening the occupants.

"Two people, a 30-year-old man and 29-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in a disturbance. A child was also injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following positive lines of enquiry.”
