West Lothian police are asking people to avoid Whitburn due to an ongoing incident.
Officers are at the scene and advise the public to stay away until the matter is under control.
A spokesperson said: “Police and other emergency services are currently dealing with an incident in Dixon Road.
“There is no cause for concern to wider general public, however, if possible please avoid this area to allow a full investigation to be carried out.”
